Oh my gosh - there are so many! Can't wait for your book!!! Our favorite spot in Door County is called Fred and Fuzzy's and it is an outdoor restaurant with lovely views of the bay. In the Milwaukee area, we love Ted's in Tosa for their great malts and burgers. Downtown, you can't beat the atmosphere and food at Rock Bottom Brewery, especially in the summer, when you can sit outside and watch the boat activity on the river. La Estacion, in Waukesha is fun for the kids because some of the dining is actually in old train cars and the food is good.

Gus's! The best Mexican in Franklin or maybe it's Hales Corners.. but it is on Hwy 100 next to the VW dealership and their hard tacos (beef) are the best ever!!
