&lt;p&gt;The add-on to this story is that during all of this, my husband was having some incredible mouth pain -- and I kicked him out of the hospital to go get a root canal. Sorry, but when you&amp;#39;re having contractions, you don&amp;#39;t want to hear about your husband&amp;#39;s sore tooth, right? Fortunately, he made it back in time to see his son born!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Danielle, you played a critical role in this event as the person who drove me to the hospital. Thanks for that!&lt;/p&gt;
