A brief Introduction

I am very excited to join the other blogging moms here at Milwaukeemoms.com.  I started blogging about six months ago on blogspot.com and have had a great response.

I am a stay-at-home mom to one daughter who is about to turn three and who reminds me that after that she's turning four. I went back to work when she was 3 months old and left when she was 10 months to stay at home full-time.  It was a big adjustment at first, but now I wouldn't have it any other way.

My daughter, who I will discreetly refer to as "A", was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis in March of this year. We also discovered at that time that she was IgA deficient which is an immuno-deficiency.  I know from time to time I'll blog about everything that has come along with that diagnosis, but right now she is in a remission period and we couldn't be more pleased!

I have been married for 8 years.  My hubby and I met in college, but didn't date until I transfered to a school in another state.  His job requires frequent travel so I'd say in the 13 years that I've known him, the longest we've ever spent together is 3 weeks. Believe me, any longer than that and we both get a little anxious.

I hope to reach out to other moms with humor, insight, and what it's really like to be a SAHM.  So, welcome to SAHM I AM, I hope you'll enjoy reading!
