Least favorite part about being a mom: The growing pile of unfinished novels on my nightstand
Little known fact: As a perilous thrill-seeker and licensed skydiver, Rebecca previously though she had career potential as a jumpmaster.
Thank you so much for sharing your story with other moms and that your feelings, anger and greif were normal under the circumstances. I agree with Jeanne that you have probably helped countless women today -some who may be feeling some of your same feelings, maybe in different circumstances. It is important for women to know that it is okay to ask for help and I am happy that you are feeling better.

I thought I was crazy thinking I was postpartum, but why wouldn't that make sense? It's such a wonderful feeling that you have support when you need it!

(Which I know doesn't make it any easier now.)

And FYI: they often repeat the terrible twos more than once, too. :)

We are day care veterans and I sometimes think that "gut" feeling stays with you forever. You worry about them, sometimes beyond reason. Why? Because they are a part of you. Much like a limb.

I'm here to tell you that day care was a blessing for my children. They've grown up to be wonderful young people and they fondly remember their days in child care. Best of luck!
